Celebrating 100 Years: 1924 to 2024

The Lemon Cove Women's Club was founded in April 1924 by Nora Alice Pogue Montgomery, and its first community service project was to serve milk to school children, which it did for more than 40 years. Today, its purpose is to promote community welfare, to further civic and cultural opportunities, and to support the historic preservation of the Pogue Hotel.

Our 100th Year Commemoration Dinner will be held in October. Dates are being discussed, as well as caterers, speakers, invitees, themes and all the other decisions that go into a special event like this. Keep your eye on this space for updates!
